APOLLO HOSPITALS, BHUBANESWAR spearheads training in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine.

The 4th annual critical care CME (continuing medical education) programme was organised at Apollo hospitals, Bhubaneswar under the joint banner of Apollo hospital and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Bhubaneswar .It was inaugurated today by Mr Sudhir M Diggikar, CEO, Apollo Hospitals, Bhubaneswar, Dr Banambar Ray (ISCCM President) , Dr Sharmili Sinha (Organising secretary and Senior Critical Care Consultant) and other eminent doctors.

“Apart from conducting such events in the hospital premises on a regular basis, we are also committed on bringing such workshops to different cities of the state in the near future”- said Mr.Sudhir Diggikar, Regional CEO, Apollo Hospitals, Bhubaneswar.The theme for the academic feast this year has been Neuro and Nephro critical care. This academic training programme is primarily aimed to improve and update the skills and knowledge of doctors and paramedics as stated by Dr Sharmili Sinha. There were 120 participants from across the state in the event which is unique and immensely useful for skill enhancement of medical and paramedics working in ICU and emergency departments.

The multi super speciality , 350 bedded NABH accredited hospital has many training programmes. The department of critical care medicine has FNB , IDDCM and certificate course in Critical Care medicine.
